Argentavis bug?
After my Argentavis tame, i set it to follow me and it followed me home. However, it followed me while it was like super high in the sky! theres no way to get it down. i tried whistling, tranqing it, ( it was too high to be accurate ) and relogging! so it just follows me everywhere i go while super high into the sky.

Playing Pve with no tribe mates and no other birds.

EDIT: Ok i got it. i made an argentavis saddle, ran up Mount Everest and i was high enough to equip the saddle on the bird.

Tame and saddle a pteranadon, or another argentavis so you can fly up to it and then get it to follow you via the "T" key by default so it follows your mount.

or get a saddle and tame one and then make whatever land dino you brought to tame the argent with to follow you back instead of the argent this bug happened to me it seems if you go through a forrest the birds ai trys to go over the trees but on the other side it just stays the same hieght.

I got this bug yesterday, really really strange. This is what happened:

1. Flew with argentavis on a mountain, to tame a second argentavis.
2. Tamed one.
3. Got on my first argentavis and whistled to the tamed one, to follow.
4. He followed me.
5. I flew a bit down and I thought he was gone. Looked back, nothing. Looked above, THERE. He stucked in air somehow.
6. Flew to him, whistled again and saw, he wont fly up OR down. So he was just flying straight forward without losing height.
7. Well, now the fun part came. Called a friend to join "the party". First, my friend took me up with our argentavis and tried to drop me to the new tamed one. I died like 5 times doing it, kinda hard. At least we equipped the saddle to him, but he still was stucking in air.
8. Tried often whistling "stop all", "follow all" and whatever, nothing.
9. I went on my pteranodon and tried it another way. Flew and stopped directly next to the bird, jumped off my ptera and hit "e" directly. It worked! I was riding him now and could fly down again.

Just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, what a bug. Must be hard to reproduce it, but hopefully this will be fixed somehow. Took us more than 1 hour to get this bird down to base.

If it helps:

- Official server 243 (PVP)
- Must have been somewhere around 8 - 9 pm (CET/MEZ)
- Coordinates should be around 56 / 65, near the blue obelisk

We tried nearly everything believe me. I even tried to punch him down, took all items out of it, equipped saddle and removed it again and whatever.

Yeah this happened to me was on 1 of my other birds when tame finished on new bird had him follow but he was really high up then I remembered something 1 of my tribe mates said about this bug happening if they don't have a saddle on them, so i had it follow me to top of a moutain and I was able to put a saddle on it, took the saddle of bird I was riding, then road it back to my base, had other bird I road before follow just fine. i think it is an issue just after you tame and they never had a saddle on, but I could be wrong.

samething happened to me long time ago. After the tame it is defaulted to follow you. I simply walked back up moutain to a height where the argent could then be saddled. Which was right near the original height of the taming. Oh yea, what Rosa already said :P

If you cant confirm or prove this, dont give advices please, since I tried exactly the same and it does nothing at all. The bird stucks in one line of height, unable to move up or down and he wont come down until you set up a saddle and ride him away.

It happened to us few times, so there are possible solutions:

1) Fly with him back to the spot where you tamed it. It is probably in the same height where you tamed it, so ti would be possible put on him saddle on the same spot.
2) Fly with him back to the spot where you tamed it. And set him on aggressive when he will be close to another bird, he will attack and "fix" himself. Just be careful and do not lost him.
3) Use another flyer. Your friend can take you in claws, put saddle on bugged argent and mount him. Take few parachutes with yourself.

We tried all of written above, and all of that helped.

I have used the spyglass and T method... I accidently hit E while on my Pteradon. luckily i landed in the water safely. But he was out of range for my whistle. Luckily scoping and whistling works.

Happened again today. Now the funny fact is, that the argentavis is staying at the highest possible point of the map (map limit). You cant even see him with a spy glass, he is higher than you were able to spot him with it. Thus, you cant lead him to any mountain to ride him from the top of that mountain, because no mountain is this high.

Can any admin look into this stuff?

Same here
Tryed everything nothing would work.

All I had to do is relog in the game
Went up to him then he droped down and I got him

Tried to relog but did not do anything. Went up after reconnect, wont come down again. So he stucks there forever? :(
