PLEASE INTRODUCE A TENT

Ive ask twice on the digest with no reply so i ask here, will we ever see a tent in the game or something similar.
i cant understand why i have to build a 2-1 foundation hut just to keep warm during those long taming sessions, jumping in a tent is more efficient imo.

A tent is actually a great idea. Make it so that you can pick it up like sleeping bags and it becomes even more useful.

Just like the flare gun, people can see you, just like your tent, people can see it, just like the unconscious dino... Whats the point when they can see it on a pvp server? Oh wait, maybe thats intended :)

I would wager a green tent within a forest, during the night, is a lot more difficult to spot than a campfire or a torch...

it not about being seen its about keeping warm when up on a mountain taming a scorpion or a argentavis, and as for just a fire it sometimes doesnt work

From startes pooint i guessed he was playing on a pvp server since his point seemed to be fires can be seen by others. On pve its not a problem if the whole isle can see you :)

i play on a private server with 5-6 mates no griefing no restriction 2x XP so i dont have to worry about being seen anyway

How about a kayak instead, if made of hide it might be light enough to carry :)

They should also add normal fishing. Maybe even use food as bait

a simple "tatch" tent is a very good idea! it could be a transportable base wich is easy to set up everytime and everywhere! devs? also i would love to see more different and realistic shelters! check this out!:

the fishing is realistic but a fishing spear looks normaly like this:
