Best Dino to tame for a level 25
Doing offline solo play and hit lvl 25 and i have 1 Trike, 4 Dilo, and a Turtle. Was looking to add to the family. I was thinking of taming another Trike or maybe start taming a bunch of trikes aswell but would like to know if i should get trikes or tame something better.

i need dinos that can carry stuff, collect berries, and can also fight and i think Trike is the perfect dino for just that role but need someone to confirm.

i see that the stego makes a nice love child of the turtle and the trike so should i go for stego instead of trikes?

as for my stuff i have 88 tranq arrows, 11 narcotics, 18 raw meat, 361 mejoberries, and alot more of the red, yellow and blue berries,

Stego is good for thatch + berries. Its stamina is better than trike but kinda low (level 30 saddle unlock)

If you have enough berries you can try taming a mammoth. (need higher level 40)

Great for wood + while you are farming wood you would also be farming berries (always around when you are trying to get wood).

Im always returning with a few hundred naroberries after a wood run.

get more narcotics first for sure

a good one to have to help in gathering flint, stone, metal (think i might try this one next):

good for gathering meat, go after a bunch of dilo's and dodo's and he's full up of meat in no time:

if your brave and good at headshots. even better for gathering meat, just avoid mobs to be safe:

hmm the carno is clearly a huge upgrade to the raptor so i will bypass the raptor for the carno. as for the ankylosaurus those are in the north and i have yet to leave my south base where i feel very safe. i would also need some scorpions probably for the ankylosaurus so for now i'll set my sights on the carno, stego and trike.

If you live in the south head east there are ankylosaurus along with stegos brontos pteradons loads (its herbivore island) bottom right on the map get a raft then your sorted for transporting the smaller dinos I did it with a stego so you should be ok

i'd say tame dodos, and a couple of crops with rocarrots, then at lvl 35 you can get yourself a high level ptera with kibble. Invest in future. That will also open a way to the sea if you tame an Ichty.

Others suggest Stego, but is way too slow and rather redundant because you already have trike (imo). Ankylo is a good choice for both berries and metal.

I agree. Just did this on my latest restart, dodos to get yourself prepped for a high lvl pteradon. I personally hate the water and died taming an Itchey 3+ times but that's the name of the game.

Dodos, Dilos, and Pulmonoscorpius so you can start collecting the eggs for the kibble to tame the ones you really want - Anky, Ptera, Argy and Doedy. You can't saddle them until level 40 to 45, but start getting the eggs NOW.
