EDIT:
server settings location for singleplayer:
ARK/Shootergame/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor/ edit the GameUserSettings.ini file
Dino Damage: 0.0
Player Damage: 3.0
Structure Damage: 3.0
Player Resistance: 3.0
Dino Resistance: 0.0
Structure Resistance: 3.0
XP Multiplier: 3.0
Taming Speed: 3.0
You will still die, however, from:
Poisons, Freezing, Overheated, Hunger, Thirst.
Instead of this... you can just type "cheat God" and "cheat infinitestats" into the tab command line. God mode will mean you never take damage from attacks or hazards, falls etc. and infinitestats means you never have to eat/drink and you don't use up ammo when you shoot. Much easier than messing with all these config settings.
Type the number you want in the box.
Difficulty sets the maximun level of NPC dinos, I'd advise a high number, like 3, so you can find high level dinos to tame. The downside, the predators will also might spawn with high levels, such as 145, which is a good thing too, for taming reasons.
Set taming to 10 or so, so you don't have to take care of it, just drop some food and you are done, if it's a high level dino, it might need some (not many) narcotics to make sure the taming process ends before the torpor wears out.
Havesting set to 4 is pretty much a good number. High rate but not radical so you pic 20 stones from one on the ground.
