You only get half the resources but if you're only one person, that should be enough.
1. Dismantle your base, put materials on your tribes dinos.
2. Set your dinos to passive and then unclaim them.
3. Leave the tribe.
4. Create new tribe.
5. Reclaim dinos.
6. Rebuild what you can from recovered materials.
I think you're both failing to see the point here. In the case of a good frined on mine on the server I play, he's the only active member in a 3 man tribe but he isnt the leader. However he wishes to merge with my tribe since we live next door. It makes little to no sense why half of his resources should be sacrificed as well as his own time to compensate for someone else. It's one thing if the tribe is small and has a small hut and what not but we're talking about Behemoth gates, Metal, etc. You wouldn't demo that much work, why should he?
I agree. add to that the time and effort spent gathering resources and building the structures. even building in difficult places like underwater and cliffs.
Have you ever tried building a highway leading to the mountains from the coast using fence foundations? avoiding other peoples structure so you don't grief others? Just so everyone else can pass and have a clear path through the forest and letting the forest still regrow. why would you grief someone who tried to talk to you nicely even if he is in the position to demand rather than be deplomatic.
Some dev info would be nice, would like to know if devs are aware of this.
It wont be to hard to Setup an Timer of like 30 Days of Inactivity that triggers an Button for Admins to claim Ownership, would it?
