That wasn't the point, it was just a example on what can be improved upon. Some people are fine with a square house, but part of the game is building a base, so why not have some fun and make something look good?
I agree completely. Crafting is one of the main components of this game so I see no reason why it should not be fun or customizable. If dyes are existent to give aesthetic features to clothes then some aesthetic features of bases/structers should be customizable, for example, making the wall rounded. It could even incorporate the current crafting system, but when you go to place the wall you could then cycle through the different available shapes and colors of the wall. I am not harping on the game, but this is definitely something I would like to see.
Im hopeful that they will come out with something within the year, I just hope it comes early enough to have us test it while its still in early access =]
Allowing a tilt for tiangular pieces could give us geodesic domes. And I don't think your lighthouse looks that bad.
