How to check if my pet is still alive

Hello i died, and i don't know if my pet is dead or not? i came back at the same place but i didn't find , so what can i do?

If you haven't had the large red message "X has died to Y" message at the top of the screen, it's probably still alive. Keep looking around the area, i've had dinos lost for days but I eventually found them.

nope i just read i was killed from a piranha, but i didn't read abount my pet, but how i can find..

I found someone trike the other night. Took a chance and guided the guy to me. His was very gratful.

From what I gathered the pet was no where near where he was. So they seem to wander when you die. They can be killed by other players or animals though.

It is only true if he is close enough. If he died really far away and took some time to get back, it might have been killed and the message won't show at the screen.

Well the dev should add some kind of thin so i can see where i my pet,,

Always put your dino in a house/base/coop when you are gone. If you are dead and hes not near you, he got killed probably

No what you should do is properly store your Dino in a good secure spot so it doesn't get killed or taken. If you leave your dino out in the middle of nowhere or on the beach when u log out, it will almost always be killed or gone. Build a base/house and then make a little dino coop aswell.

i agree with you kozzy, but i was in travel, i left the pc for 15-20 min and bum i died and the game say i was killed but i don't know if the game show me first the death of my pet and then mine

if it gets attacked it will fight meaning it probally wondered off somewhere fighting
I had a sarco in the middle of the ocean for a week

when i die sometimes for no reason my pets wonder off but usually not that far so try looking in the area

You could send them an email as I doubt they take time to read all the threads. Then again, they might not read your email either, but it is worth trying.

Good luck mate, I would personally like to know when my dino are sometimes.
