Client buildid does not match host buildid

This server I was just playing and making progress on cannot be accessed now since the last update.... if anyone knows a fix help me out this was a unofficial server.

that error means the version of the game you are running does not match the host you are trying connect too meaning the server your trying to to connect too

so in other words if the host is still running 184 game build but your on 185 game build you cant log in and have to wait for the server your trying to connect to to be updated

If its an official server then they should update it shortly after the update is released. however if its an unofficial server its up to the servers owner or the server admins to update there server at their descretion.

I am having the same issue however my dedicated server seems to be the most updated and the actually client is a build behind with no updates pending in steam. How could this be? Do i have to just wait?

Validating the game files as I type to hopefully force the new update.

Are there mods on the server?
Could be a version mismatch the other way round with a mod.

Nah mod free. Didn't work so I'm rebuilding the server.
