Stone bases virtually unbreakable on Primitive, is this intended?
Currently, on Primitive servers, the only way to break anything made out of stone is to use metal tools, such as the pick, hatchet or pike. As we all know, this can be well over 30 picks just to break one wall/door. Is this intended, or is it simply a design oversight?

Suggestions: add grenades on primitive or make a dino like the ankylosaurus able to break stone

All large Dino's should be able to break stone. Isn't the point of primitive that you're forced to rely on Dino's?

How is this a troll? I'm merely suggesting a bandaid fix for a ridiculous problem. I'd prefer for there NOT to be grenades, but it looks like there's no other option at the moment.

having difficulty for destroying stone walls on a primitive server seems reasonable to me... otherwise castles in medieval times could have been taken down by no more than a bunch of small boys weilding sharp rocks.

The game is hardly in it's final stages and nothing is set in stone. The primitive servers were opened in response to player request and as an experiment on the dev's side which is why there are only a handful of primitive servers available. The game was not balanced around the concept of primitive servers. Heck it isn't even balanced on normal servers TBH, But that's why this is early access.

I would expect to see something from the devs to balance this on both sides, primitive and normal, but before that they need to address structures vs dinos in general. I would say that, yes, an anky or the soon to be released headbutt dino (forget it's name and too lazy to look up) have the most potential to be stone busters, and I'd be fine with that because that means the people looking to bust in have prepared by taming dinos specific to that purpose. But before they do that, they do need to balance structures in general so that the effort put into building them better reflects the role they are intended to serve. They also need to re-evaluate dino maintainance so that there is an ongoing cost to keeping the larger dinos apart from the time sink it took to tame them.

This is why they designed siege weapons in the medieval times. Battering rams, catapults, ballistas, etc. Which raises another interesting posibility that the dev's have inted at. Once they get structures on the backs of dinos implimented, they may very well add things like catapults mounted on the back of a trike that can take down stone walls.

The problem with dinos breaking buildings is that it cost 0 resourses for the attacker. Breaking wooden base is free at the moment. Just theory crafting here - naked dino should not be able to break anything beyond thatch. There should be expensive dino items that allow you to break buildings but they would loose durability in the process. They should be heavy too so dino can carry only 1 at a time and it would last to break 1-2 wall for example. So you would need to bring several dinos or make a few round trips to the base if you want to wipe the base.

You guys need to stop crying. Base raiding should be hard and take ALOT of time.
Alot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ taking whole bases down for fun.
Griefing is NOT PVP. Its PVO.

+1 primitive servers intended to be safer for ppl. why devs must add somethg to easy brake bases it will be just as normall pvp server. Since 95% only raiding while offline. will be not much of a differnce to be killed in stone house by stone hatchet or in metal by rifle

It's supposed to be like that, you shouldn't be able to easily break into peoples houses, what's the point of having a house then?

Also lol it's a primitive server and a grenade is not an option it's not a primitive object. It has to be a primitive solution.

Catapults that can be pulled by dinos. Imagine strolling up to a stone fortress with Parasaurs and Phiomas pulling catapults.
