I heard people say Rex is better.
Personally, I love my Spino.
In the game I'd imagine its the same, in a fight to the death the Rex wins as it likely has abit more base damage per strike and a much better turn radius. The spino is more ultimate utility beast then the ultimate war beast.
That doesn't make any sense at all. From a scientific standpoint.
Those dinosaurs didn't even live during the same eras.
And it is not debatable: T-Rex is built for pure marderous strenght with its jaws, bones and muscles. It had the most powerful bite of any creature at any point in history. The kind that crushes steel. Spinosaurus has conical teeth with a long muzzle made to catch fishes.
Allosaurus had a bite weaker than a modern lion and was significantly smaller than a Rex.
1) the spino appears to have a slightly higher base attack, considering I do more damage per attack to wooden structures vs Rex with a 600-6w0% melee damage stat
2) the spino seems to be able to walk over walls single story high
3) the spino regains stamina while swimming
4) the spino has Hugh oxygen, making escape into deep water easy
5) the spino swims faster than it runs
Use the spino to make attacks in areas close to water because the lack of HP will make you pull out to recover early
Spino base damage is 50
Spino attacks about 1.5x faster
rex better per-hit-damage and tanking
Spino has better sustained damage and utility
'Murderous strength'? Doesnt take much strength to murder, consider the Hyena, incredible bite strength, and yet it is a scavenger, predators require a combination of strength, speed and agilty. I agree that the Rex probably got more of its meals from scavenging and was probably an opportunistic hunter
