Best mount for exploring / fighting

I was wondering what mount you guys prefer between a raptor , saber and carno.
Atm i am testing a carno, and even tough it's slower, it seems to surpase the other 2 in all stats.

Raptors are good early game, but quickly lul out if you don't up their carry weight limits.
Carnos seem to do really well, at least in my opinion. People say they are horrible due to slow speeds at times, and horrible stam regen, although I have a carno that was both able to completely outrun a saber pack, and run for a VERY long time and regen'd stam quite fast. They also have great carry weight for exploring, that and most things besides sabers and rexes wont attack you.
Sabers are like between Carnos and raptors, more for quick attacking tbh. Subpar carry weight, but great attack, speed, and stam regen.

i like my saber, haven't had the other two. saber is very good for keritin.

Argentavis, then Saber.

Sabers are pretty much an upgrade to raptors, they even have better base ms I believe.

Only thing I dont like about saber is their bad health scaling.
If thats a problem for you, go with carno.

Carnos can even enter some caves that sabers cant cause saber hitbox is weird af.

I actually love the saber for everything.
If you're on a higher level server then just upgrade health, stamina, attack, and maybe movement.

since i last posted i have been using a spino alot. They are very good. I use that for traveling to caves, taming, hunting etc.

Use flying mounts for long range mining i.e. obsidian.
