Stacking Fertilizer?
With the weight and slots changes made to large storage box, storing Fertilizer is hell. Why are they not stackable?

Add on to that the fact that crops ravage through fertilizer, on what planet do I need to top up fertilizer every 12 hours.

Last time I checked real days last ~24 hours. It takes like 20 minutes for whole day/night cycle. So they would have speed certain aspects of the game up, like hunger and fertilizer use.

Don't try to compare the part of the game you don't like to reality without doing it to the whole game please.

If I had to guess, fertilizer doesn't stack because it has a damage value from usage or whatever. Since damage value is just 0 (or max, call it 0 for simplicity here) on unused ones, we (not thinking) would think it would stack, but it doesn't, because all items with damage value (ie, tools, etc.) don't stack. I prefer it not stacking to stacking and expiring after X amount of time, since I think our poop bins aren't working upstairs right now. Dun really wanna go through the trouble of replacing them, but I'll check again today.

Well just make it so that used fertilizer don't stack but new ones do. I don't see why I would remove it from the crop slot once it's in there, unless I wantes to change the position of said plot...

think of it as a water jar, or skin, it starts out full, and slowly gets lower, kinda like these fertilizers, so they dont stack,

I don't know the actual coding mechanics, but it's possible that anything with a damage value can't stack. I'm going to make a wild assumption that it's the case.

my mind is jumping to minecraft right now, but if you play it you know you can stack buckets, till they have water or lava (or anything else from mods) in them, so possibly doing the inverse

Im all aware of the reason behind why they made it like that. But here waterskin and water jar can be refill. Tools can be repaired.

Fertilizer loses value as soon as it comes in contact with a plot with seeds, it can't be refilled, repaired or reuse once it runs out. Meaning that as a farmer, I have to make sure that :

1 : A crop slot won't run out of fertilizer while I'm out of the game
2 : Once I do return, I refill the slot with the fertilizer I've already made

As I get a larger field, that stock of fertilizer needs to be bigger. I already have like 21 compost bin but no way to efficiently to store it.
