Too close to an enemy Foundation Structure
So I found a great area on the northern beach, built a main house, constructed my 1-level fence around my base and under water. Couple of hours later somebody builds a thatch house right outside my fence.

Now I don't mind people living near by, but when I tried to put the 2nd level of my fence up so I could make it higher, I keep getting the warning "Too close to an enemy Foundation Structure".

Is this intended? or a bug? because I have about 8-10 sections that I can't take past 1 level due to this. This leaves my base vulnerable in the water and on land. Now I could demolish and rebuild my fence but even inside my fence I get the error so I couldn't even move it inward a few sections.

I am on PvEOfficialServer373.

So now I am left with two choices.
1- Demolish the guys thatch base after he goes offline and the timer expires (he is not in a tribe). But I kind of don't want to be a ♥♥♥♥.
2- Be forced to move my fence and waste a ton of resources. Even when I was here way before anyone near me.

Before building my base I made sure I was nowhere near anyone else, so that I don't prevent them from building or expanding.

I could try talking to him but his name is inapproapriate to repeat and I get the feeling I wouldn't get a good response.

People shouldn't be able to build this close and disrupt other peoples already built structures.

I really don't know what I should do in this situation.

He's probably foundation trolling. I would wait and destroy. If he comes on try to talk.

Do what I did: Destroy his base and leave a note/sign saying you will reimburse everything as long as he moves away.

Yea, the fence foundation should count as a structure a enemy tribe can't build near.

I always put foundation here and there inside my outer base walls .
I play PVP but when someone pisses u off on a PVE you can actually surround their base and lock them in if they dont do this as u can build wall right next to theirs which cant be destroyed

Fence foundations do not count as proper foundations. When building your perimeter fence make sure to put down some proper foundations on the corners to prevent that from happening.
