Howto "turn around" thatch walls

Is it possible to "turn" thatch walls around while placing them on a fernce foundation? I want to build a staple for my dodo farm but when I place a thatch wall the "wooden" side is on the outside, but I want the thatch side on the outside.

Your fence foundation is the wrong orientation then (they need to make it so the walls face inwards to where you are standing)

if you place your first one down the rest will be the same way round. the idea is to change your position and see if you can get it the right way

IT is tricky, if you back up a bit, or move in closer, adjust camera angle, use first person, third person, move a bit, k... do all that with small motions and you can manage to get the wall to flip orientation.

Its a major pain in the a s s. but it works.

Until they implement a improved UI for construction with a 'flip' object mechanic, that is what we have to do.
Works with other objects too, such as slanted pipe , etc.

It may depend on where you are standing when placing the wall and/or fence foundatin. If you are standing on the inside or outside when placing the foundation or wall.

Not true, depends where you stand when you place each foundation.

Well I tried everything but had to replace all my foundations.

stand to the inside of your structure facing outside to place walls, wood supports face you when placing.

There was a dev comment on This reddit thread where the devs talk about adding rotation of snaps in the future, so it's on the roadmap.

Answer:
Yes! We’ve got loads planned in the pipeline, such as more structure peices, the capability to rotate snaps, per-pixel paint-brushing, decorative objects, 45° ramps!! among other things :D
