Corpse bags are disappearing...

4 times now I have died and spawned in right next to where I died after being eaten by raptors my corpse is gone and so is the bag... its getting very frusterating I keep losing so much stuff due to a bug.

Same thing keeps happening to me; like 9 times now. I don't even want to play the game anymore 'cause of it. It's retarded and breaks the game.

I've had this same thing happen to me numerous times with mammoths, even when I just fall and die less than 15 yards from my bed in full daylight, you'd think I'd be able to find my corpse or bag, but no. The game's broken and it's not fun when you constantly fall through the earth or your corpse does every 15 minutes. Don't belittle someone's frustration when you know little to nothing about the actual situation. It just makes you look dumb.

No, no he doesn't. Your bag appears on the ground with all your stuff in it. However, if when you die your body/bag falls through the world (as is probably happening and has happened to me multiple times) there is no getting it back.

The bags sometimes glitch through the ground and can be retrieved by an admin with the ghost command, IF they stopped falling. If they dont, they drop all the way down and are gone forever. Annoying, but just remember, this is an alpha.

I also assumed that if you die your bag stays for like 10 minutes. BUT, if you're eaten, they generally eat the bag too. I thought this was confirmed? I've seen my stuff on the dino inventory after I go back and kill the offender.

No you dont....you see randomly generated stuff that most carnivores get as invo....its not your stuff, its just stuff.
Wild dino will NOT eat your stuff. They will however knock your corpse around as they eat. Your bag will almost never be where you fell.
9 times outta 10 there is no bug/glitch, but rather your bag has been knocked away...

Exactly. I've had to pull my bag out of trees before, when I died on the ground. Your bag will end up wherever your body ragdolls to...

9 times out of ten there are no trees, or other obstructions, there is just flat, featureless rock. There's nowhere for the corpse to, "ragdoll" to except straight through the ground which is what's been happening.

Until they fix this ♥♥♥♥, I'm not going to waste my time trying to play this game anymore. Also, 9 times out of ten there is no predator and I die from cold or fall off a rock less than 50 yards from my base in full daylight with no trees, nowhere for the corpse to, "hide" but through the ground.

Yet ten times in two days my corpse has completely disappeared with all my stuff. The game is unplayable at this point and is a complete waste of my time, much like half the posts here in this thread.

I feel your pain. So many easy ways to die, thats fairly annoying enough but its the nature of the game and adds some thrill to it. But...this entire corpse thing....not only the bug of corpses not being where they should(lost everything on my character too many F'ing times), but the ridiculously short decay time...needs to be fixed. Your body should take much longer then 15 d@mn minutes to decay as well as the backpack that drops if your body is eaten. Also, for crying out loud make that little pack a color that stands out instead of something that blends right in to the terrain.

Yeah it sucks when your stuff falls through (have lost water jars and the mining helmet). All I can say is get better, take less risks, and you will survive longer, but again, this is a survival game that is in early release so these things will continue until they are fixed.
