Stone Walls are useless, was raided again

I believe stone walls are a waste of time and development, I used them trying to prevent being raided again...and after a day my dino's were wiped and my entire tribe house destroyed. How many metals do I need for a metal wall?

Stone tier would be good, but they only have a bloody stone wall.

So you guys are saying my survival chance is basically none, as I am lev 30 I can only make metal walls. If metal walls are useless, then why am I playing this game?

This is a normal life in PvP Servers... just switch to a PvE server and be happy. Base building in PvP IS useless, just go to a PvE server build your stuff, get the feel of the game, tame some dinosaurs... then if you want to taste the PvP upload your char and if you wish also some dinosaur to help you raid other players houses.

And craft alot of grenades and a longneck rifle and some bullets for it. Thats all you gonna need for PvP. Also train your aim, aim for the head.

Deep sea hidden crates. Build crates and stuff under water. view distence is blured under water so players seeing your base from far away on low detail will not find them. Also sharks will keep them safe at times. Also you dont need deep deep water so sharks are not a problem. Use a lake or river. I have never had any loot stolen from my crates. I have no clue who would even find my booty. So hidden and I even have a hard time finding them. As for homes just build a cheap 1 room home and fire pit. Who wants to loot a 1 room home thats empty.

you really got to hide your base better - big bases, while epic, are giant ass targets of resources.

instead of one giant base, have loads of little ones hidden all over the place. have back up bolt holes. As above dude says, build crates underwater or behind waterfalls or in just plain uncommon locations. On top of sudden rises are difficult to spot from lower ground....and even if one gets found, the rest are unlikely to be!

don't build on the beach or open planes or under/near a cliff. Do build deep in forests, on top of cliffs (but not on the ledge where ever jane and john can see you from the ground). hell build your base underwater then go pass your itemless character in a hidden spot. Never passout with your important items equipped - pale people are easily found. offload them all into crates or a particularly tough dino.
