You cna also fold up a piece of small paper and lodge it into the side of the w key when you hold it down - should force it to stay down

Yes, great. There are hack jobs. That doesn't really invalidate this request. A great many FPS games have an auto-move feature. It seems a reasonable request. So I'm really not sure of the point of such responses.
