It's on our list of things we're considering. We just haven't come to a decision about whether it's overall good or bad for the game.

Edit: Please let me know if you see or know of any dev responses regarding this subject so I can stop bumping it..

Edit: To avoid confusion here is a quote

Helps.
Its not about being able to rebind the keys that works fine. The idea is that when you press for instance numlock (a pretty common key used for this feature) you automatically move forward without having to hold W.

Autograb: No longer needed as dino's to gather stone and fiber are confirmed check below for their dosiers! Thanks for providing the information guys!

It's called taping your shift key down.

Agree on this. Can we get a double tap on W for sprint? (like dayz)
My little finger gets quite painful holding shift

Oh auto move forward not auto sprint.

In that case just figure out a way to tape down your "W" key :P

Controller + rubber band .

You cna also fold up a piece of small paper and lodge it into the side of the w key when you hold it down - should force it to stay down

Yes, great. There are hack jobs. That doesn't really invalidate this request. A great many FPS games have an auto-move feature. It seems a reasonable request. So I'm really not sure of the point of such responses.
