Shastasaur taming method?
The patch notes only mention that it will have a non-violent method, but nothing about what that method is.
Anyone have further information?

I won't be able to get back to playing for a while yet, but I'd like to be up-to-date when I can.

You have to sacrifice your highest level dino in the name of the Shasta you want to catch. He will then come to you and allow you to place a saddle upon its back.

This or maybe just toss a bunch of berries into the water in front of it and it'll pick them up??

No, it's actually Shastasaur.

Icthyosaur (fish lizards) is the Order name, as Carnivora is for dogs.
But if I said my dog ate my homework you wouldn't say it was my Carnivora, because my walrus could be blamed.. or my weasles, foxes, bears.....

You get the picture.

I guess I'll just have to wait til I can get back to log in and pester chat for details on taming them.

And I could put a picture of a dog up with the title "Dossier: Canrivora"
It would be the same thing. Correct, but not Accurate.

Ichthyosaur refers to any of a number of fish-reptiles that existed up til the end of the Cretaceous period.
But the one we're getting is the Shastasaur. :)

I could have swore they made two seperate Dossiers. One for a Shasta and the other for an Ichthy...
