How do you make your bird land?
I dismount and there's a 50% chance the devs will let my bird land and a 50% chance the devs will make my bird fly away from me, just lost a bird and my Sniper riffle because the devs made the bird fly away that time. is there a way to make dismounting 100% chance that your bird will land next to you? I know this game is early access so it can't afford talented programmers. but how do you get a bird to land? games 10 years ago did it not sure why they can't figure it out

I feel your pain. It seems they need x-amount of area to fly around first and then maybe they will land.

Spacebar makes the bird land then dismounts you.

Hit the U key a couple of times, almost stops immediately.

As mentioned above, use spacebar to dismount instead of 'E'. Also be ready to use your 'Stop" whistle (default 'Y') to stop it from wandering away.

i lost a level 55 because his nose was in the water he drown while i was whacking a shark. Some how they need to make them actualy land and land near you not fly around and into danger, make it so they fly away if danger is there.

I don't recommend using 'U' as it's an AoE whistle that will clear all follow orders on dinosaurs your able to control, and the area is large, so you could clear tribemate's follow orders, which can be a pita to set up again, specially if you have a dinosaur train set up.

As already stated above, pressing 'Space Bar' will make the flyer automatically head towards the ground, when it touches the ground you will be dismounted and there's a chance the flyer will walk a little, when you are dismounted press 'U' once or twice to counter the walking.

At least it lands right? :)
Just hit the u or y key to whisle it to stop when dismounting. It won't walk away then.
