Accidentally created a new survivor

I accidentally created a new survivor on an official server while I have a level 45 character. How do I get my level 45 character again?

Truly is, darn took me so much time to get it. I know you could upload your character but this option got deleted in the official for, unknown reason?, and after a raider just killed me with a level 60 Rex I got so mad I didn't even notice I'm creating new char ;(

They really need a windows UAC style prompt for create new char. (are you sure? are you really sure? are you really really sure?) lol. I have seen too many posts regarding this and the day it happens to me, i will cry

i lost a lvl 71 charecter the same way there really needs to be a respawn existing survivior button

I thought someone brought this up ages ago and they said they'd fix it so people wouldn't end their characters so easy.

This just happened to me also. My young son who plays lost his main character with his tribe and is in tears. His tribe members and trible leader haven't been on in a couple of weeks. They really should do something to fix this. All that work and time makes everything seem like just a huge waste due to poor game design.

How hard is it to know to press the BED to respawn, I hate saying this but its not really a game yet its still alpha but as you decided to bring up a post from 5 mths ago......

I clicked the new survivor button and my head dropped. No cancel button. I did nothing more and disconnected the game. Then I went back in and my original character respawned. I lost nothing. My daughter created a new survivor for me once. So I already started over before too. It was an easier start in the world since I knew what I was doing the second time.
