They brand your server what the ♥♥♥♥ is that ♥♥♥♥, I'm not going to pay $32 a month for a server then pay another $10 to remove their name from my server thats not right in any way shape or form. That is the biggest scumbag move in the server hosting world. You don't charge someone more to brand their server if anything your charge them less.

If you are really looking for the "bestestest" way to host an ARK server, then I'd say: Rent a powerful dedicated machine with an i7 4790k and do it yourself.

For instance:
https://www.webtropia.com/en/dedicated-server/root-server-comparison.html

Or buy such a rig and host it @ home, given you have at least a 50MBit or 100MBit line.

All hosters run Virtualized Machines which are pretty restrictive or get you in trouble sooner or later because you share one machine with 6-10 other servers, which can cause ping and performance spikes.

You really don't start from there tho, When you get a server you don't rent the best and hope for the players you start with something small and upgrade as needed. I'm looking for a dedicated game sever host that can host a 30 slot server. Then if we do get the players we can expand upwards to a dediated server but those are expensive for anything worth using.

Sure. But you need to keep in mind the unoptimized state of the servers.

Keywords: Server Framerates & Rubberbanding.

Currently ARK servers are CPU hogs. That means: The more players you get, the less performance you have. And the only way to counter this is having a server with a powerful (singlethread) CPU.

And since normal game server providers use server CPUs which are optimized for Multicore usage, you most likely end up having a bad performance (low Server Framerates) already with 30-40 players connected and run into alot of rubberbanding issues.

ARK servers use single core only. So you want to look for a server with a CPU which has a great Single Thread performance: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/singleThread.html

You might want to have a look at this thread: steamcommunity.com/app/346110/discussions/0/615086038678385556/

I don't know what your budget is, but since you asked for the "best company" (or "best way") for hosting ARK, you will most likely not get a very powerful server for less than $40-$50. And for that money + a bit more you can already get an i7 4790k dedicated root server and do all the hosting yourself.

Just my 2 cents.

LOL ♥♥♥♥ that, They brand your server then want 10$ to remove it. Worst server hosting ever imo.

I am renting a server from HostHavoc.com paying $15/month for 20 slots, expansions sold at $2/month per 4 slots.
Service is very good too, have been abck and forth with couple people trying to get alot of custom settings on the server working, and they were more than happy to help. Including about 4hrs of back and forth with the CEO when the level edits wouldnt take!
The ARK servers are in montreal, and at first this concerned me a bit. I live in south Texas...I have moderatly decent internet connection, nothing special.....I am usualy showing low 30s for ping...peak I have seen was 71.

Id say check em out...really cant beat the price.

streamline servers - no probs so far, fast restarts, intuitive menus, very low ping although we are a very small community atm, think its 15 quid a month for 40 slots im paying

I originally had a server through Survival Servers. I ordered a Dallas server and instead received a server in France. Every time I would try and migrate the server to Dallas it would give me a French IP with a 200+ ping. Support took over 24 hours to respond and in the end I received an IP from Montreal Canada. None of this I agreed to pay for so I asked for a refund. They refused. I do NOT suggest ever using Survival Servers.

I have since gone with using GameServers and I am very happy.
