yes it is full, ill disconnect the water pipe from it see how long it takes to fill just by rain, still my objective was to have the tank and fill my water jars with it but you cant it seem
i had some guy who complained that his water tank wasnt filling his water bottle or watering his crops... it turns out he didnt have a "irrigation" pipe tap
well that is what I am saying what is the different having a water pipe to your base with a tap directly or having a water pipe to a water container with a tap? seem the water container is useless unless you are far in the Forrest and you transport water to it
Thus, water tanks, which do indeed fill up when it rains.
wrong. 8/
needs to be a Tap; and a tap you can open (like a dino inventory) and place your skins/jars inside to auto fill. I had to demolish the tank...
as others have stated; if you are near water, then you don't need a tank. the tanks are for rain-catching in remote-bases. I don't know of another use (but, im not my tribes farmer.. might have more use there?)
Hope this helps
Placing water bags into water containers does nothing unless you are trying to fill the container in which case you would place a full water jug into the container and select remote use. if you want to take water from the resivoir, you need to attach a tap to the end of a pipe coming from the resivoir and get water from the tap when it's full.
Also, water bags that are stored in the tap do not seem leak out which is nice.
A little sanity can go a long way.
On a side note...fun numbers really...acording to their math, your water skin should also weigh about a ton full of water. Given the above numbers at least. Since one gallon of water weighs 8.33 pounds.
Thanks for clarifying.
I remember when I first saw the water tank icon, I pictured a tank sitting on the ground, like a well more or less. The floating pipes are very unsightly to me :p But yes this helped a bunch.
