are large storage chests the only thing 2 tiles tall??

trying to plan out my next base. I personally don't like making the walls 2 high all over just to fit large storage chests. With the recent change to weight in chests; im personally comfortable with small chests all over the place, instead of large.

i noticed my smithy/smelter will fit in a 1 high room; so im assuming the fabricator is also only 1 tile high, etc.

So, my question is: Is the large storage container truly the Only reason to build a floor of a house 2 tiles tall??? If so, my next plan will only be one tile tall floors.

I heard vaults are 3-4 tiles tall

Fabricator takes two...., and it's hit box is also wider than it looks..

1 tile tall houses are for poor peasant in thatch. You will see the benefit from making your door a dino/behemoth gate when you don't want your dino to be out in the rain, poor things :(

Ouch, so the Fab is confirmed 2 tiles tall... hmm; guess i need to rethink my plans.

i want to build skinny, and vertically (hey, its my choice.) So, i guess ill have to settle for 2 tall tiles.
