Auto deploy option for parachute?

I've died twice falling from a pteradon.
once trying to land on a perch and getting catapulted off the side.
The other time by my dino getting tired fighting in mid air and passing out.

Both times lag stopped me from getting my chute open.

Could we get an option to auto deploy chute when falling a certain distance?

Its the lagging game thats an issue.
Are you somehow saying that crappy server performance = skill?

YES, yes it is VERY hard when the server lags for 10 seconds, not allowing you any input, and then you finally resync and are dead on the ground.

Instead of auto-deployment, i would say modify the space button so it auto-detect if you have the parachute or not and use parachute if you press space while falling (perhaps it's possible as they were able to modify the gravity for dinos --> detect gravity amount on your body --> trigger parachute using spacebar

its definitely the server. I play on PVE38 I believe. (at work now dont servername in front of me)
Everytime we have a big lag everyone in the global chat starts complaining about it.
Not sure if PvP servers suffer, other PvE suffer, or if its just our server, but its causing a lot of problems for people. people falling, drowning, etc....
