Can't get through server browser
Hey guys, I just bought the game and I wanted to join a server but whenever i'm in the server list the game start lagging like crazy and after a minute or so it completely stops.
I tried setting the graphics to low, reducing the resolution and switching to windowed, even that didn't help.

Single player worked just fine, no issues at all. However I can't join servers. Any ideas?

try waiting 10mins for game to finish loading (it continues loading many resources for ages after its got to the menu) If that doesnt work try connecting via the Steam server browser, in steam click View menu > Servers & change the filter to Ark. Only other way to connect is via the Tab console which you can do from single player I think and type Open Ipaddress:port .

The server browser thing in steam worked for me, Thanks. Too bad I can't just launch the server through the in-game server browser though.

Yes it only consumes 20W more than my old one so it's fine.

Thank you :) The game isn't as optimised as i thought it would be lol, with my 4770K and TITAN X it still won't run 60 fps at epic. Ah well.
