How To Gift Dinosaurs

I just figured out how to gift any and all tamed dinosaurs and just thought it could help people.

Basically what you need to do is unclaim a dinosaur and then the person you want to gift it to will claim it, they will not attack and they will not be wild, they will essentially be the tamed pet of ARK and will just sit there.

I really hope this helps people, it helped me out since I could get rid of a dino without killing it as well as helping as smaller tribe. If you have any questions just ask :)

Warning - they do sometimes go wild (a tribe mate got nom'd by their high level raptor unclaiming to gift to another newer player).

Two of my 5 Dilo's I unclaimed went wild and attacked me. Unsure if bug or as a result of accidental hit while killing another dino and the agro not clearing...

What mode were they set to? If they were on aggressive, perhaps that state persists when unclaimed, making you into an enemy.

Had 4 reports of it happening thus far (including my two).

I also think that the state persists when you unclaim, I'll have to test it soon then :) I'll hopefully remember and post here :)
