What % run speed to outrun spino/t rex?
I play SP so taking down dinos is hard; I have 2 carnos but only because they were stuck in a tree and I took advantage of that for an easy knockdown :)

If I want to do it legit, what % speed do I need to kite t rex, spinos and carnos?

130% Movement speed is just enough to outrun wild spinos if you are on level ground.
That is 60 levels put into speed. 2% per level.

30/2=15

15 levels needed to achieve 130%, 100%+(15*2%)=130%
Are spinos the fastest of the big dinos? How much to outrun a raptor?
Why do u wanna waste points in runspeed at all???

Dinos are suppose to do that for u when u mount them, spend points in stamina and oxygen and carryweight for endgame when u need to start diving and gathering. Even melee dmg is wasted because of dinos, u are suppose to use THEIR dmg to kill stuff, not ur characters as meleeing dinos is kind of a last resort.

1. Your fastest dinos have crap carry weight and they carry YOUR weight too.
2. Stamina and oxygen are a given but you can tame carbonemys to help you dive... kinda like your original argument.
3. Melee damage makes you gather faster, knock things out faster, increases your bow and thrown spear dmg...

If you think you know it all, think again.

Melee damage improves your ranged too?! WHATTTT?!
No it doesnt, unless it was patched.

Just another smartass.
I read it affects if you actually use the weapon as a melee weapon. Like, swinging the bow at someone with the melee attack key?

Pretty sure they are supposed to be faster than Rexes by just a slim margin, but much moreso in the water. Carno's on land too...eh...I'd call it close. >_>
Raptors are stupid fast. Pretty sure the fastest (sprinting) land animal in the game, bar maybe the Sabertooth...Then we're not even talking extra points in movement speed from a higher level one. Even if you managed to spec enough points to successfully outrun them consistently, I'd wager you spent so many levels worth to do so that it's just not worth it, compared to the value of spreading points into stats like health, stamina, oxygen, melee damage, and carrying weight.
Yes it doesnt affect the bows. Dinos still need x number of torpor buildup to get knocked out, melee dmg does diddly for that.

He just wants to feel special.
Carno's are inbetween rexes and raptors for speed i think. I want to get more of them and have an army of carno's since they have a good mix of speed and strength. If I can kite them I can use trank arrows to take them down. How many levels in speed to kite a carno?

Raptor only takes about 120%
