Oh dear, this is what we call a fail.
Dinos are suppose to do that for u when u mount them, spend points in stamina and oxygen and carryweight for endgame when u need to start diving and gathering. Even melee dmg is wasted because of dinos, u are suppose to use THEIR dmg to kill stuff, not ur characters as meleeing dinos is kind of a last resort.
1. Your fastest dinos have crap carry weight and they carry YOUR weight too.
2. Stamina and oxygen are a given but you can tame carbonemys to help you dive... kinda like your original argument.
3. Melee damage makes you gather faster, knock things out faster, increases your bow and thrown spear dmg...
If you think you know it all, think again.
Just another smartass.
Pretty sure they are supposed to be faster than Rexes by just a slim margin, but much moreso in the water. Carno's on land too...eh...I'd call it close. >_>
Raptors are stupid fast. Pretty sure the fastest (sprinting) land animal in the game, bar maybe the Sabertooth...Then we're not even talking extra points in movement speed from a higher level one. Even if you managed to spec enough points to successfully outrun them consistently, I'd wager you spent so many levels worth to do so that it's just not worth it, compared to the value of spreading points into stats like health, stamina, oxygen, melee damage, and carrying weight.
He just wants to feel special.
