How to reset Local Data
Hey, played Ark locally and died. Unfortunately upon death I made a new survivor and couldn't access all the stuff I had made with my previous character.....I may have done this a few times now and was wondering if there was a way to wipe my local game world without uninstalling and deleting everything. I would love to start with a clean slate again!

Wondering the same thing. I just need to start fresh, after all the changes, and I can't tell if the changes I'm making using the world gen sliders (# of dinos, etc) are taking effect or not.

I just want to start new!

\Steam\SteamApps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\SavedArksLocal

Delete that folder.

Local ARK data is stored in C:/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/common/ARK/ShooterGame/Saved/SavedArksLocal

TheIsland.ark <- Island + Structures
LocalPlayer.arkprofile <- Character Data
TheIsland_Anti-CorruptionBackup.bak <- backup
TheIsland_NewLaunchBackup.bak <- backup

If you delete these they should be re-created upon re-joining a local game.

hmm just noticed these are specific to structures/ player... what I'm most conscerned with is dino generation - in single player there are too many, so I'm wondering if the world will still be (over)populated by changing thsee settings? Damn, not sure, gonna give it a shot the way you have it here

Server statistics are modified using ARK/ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/GameUserSettings.ini

However, I'm not sure if you can also modify local server settings using that file or not. If you need assistance feel free to add me and I'll walk you through it. I tend to forget to check the forums.

DinoCountMultiplier=1.000000
