Electrical Generator = Gasoline
Straight Electrical Cable from Generator outwards
Electrical outlets placed on cable/s
Lights placed, will connect to outlets if close
If you didn't set pins on these objects it obviously will not work.
So, everything is well connected to an outlet obviously otherwise I wouldn't be able to turn on/off the light manually ;p
Like I said, we have way enough gasoline to let the generator work 24/7.
My keypad is placed very near an electrical outlet (one that is giving electricity to 2 of my lights and our refrigirator) so yes it is supplied with electricity (plus, it says so when I look at the keypad).
I have put the pin code 0001 to the light right next to the keypad, I turned it off manually and tried to light it up with the keypad using the same pin code, but nothing happens. I know that if I just press E in front of the keypad, it will toggle a pin code to turn on/open things, while I have to hold E and choose the turn off option to, well, turn off things x)
But still, nothing is happening :(
I will try immediatly to turn off ALL the lights we have in our base and then go to the keypad, I'll let you know if that changes anything.
It would seem that all the lamp posts that I've built BEFORE I installed my keypad, can't work with it. I noticed that the lamp i've just installed right now on my friends house (in our base of course) was working with the keypad, since I've installed the lamp post on his house AFTER installing the keypad.
I even tried to remove one of the lamp post I had before having the keypad, and then put a new lamp post exactly at the same spot, and now this one works with the keypad also!
Is that supposed to be normal? or some bug to notify? Because let's face it, the first thing you want to build (in the electrical category of course) is NOT the keypad if there is nothing to turn on/off...
Plus, I've tried putting a pin code to our mega gate but of course it's not working, but now I am wondering if it's because we've built the mega gate before installing the keypad... Because having to replace the current one with a new one JUST for beeing able to open it from afar, well that's not really worth it IMO x)
I followed the above instructions and set pin codes for the lights I wanted to toggle with
the remote
Then went to the remote I made and entered the pin to deactivate already working lights that were on already.
Nada. No workie. Jack Squat.
No toggle on or off matters via remote.
Yes, using same pin I entered at the lights.
I did not set the pin on all my lights though, only 3 of the 5 on property.
I too, built my lights, placed fridge, and all before I got around to making the remote and placing it.
And yes, it is powered to the grid.
and yes, the lights all work before I made this remote.
So, I've not had time to build yet more lights to see if ones that I build after I made
and placed the remote will work with the remote or not.
Sounds like it may be a stupid bug = glitch.
Set my main dino gate to 9999 and that also work fine.
