[BUG?] Argentavis - tamed NOT landing or following properly

A tribe mate and I jsut tamed 2 Argentavis. While we set them to follow us home they were following erratically, bouncing all around the sky and now they wont land at home and are stuck hovering about in the air. Should they not land?

and this is not upcoming its under 180.0 which i am on 180.1 so should have been fixed.

"Y" can be iffy at times. Try "U".

If neither works, get them to follow you to a more open area to see if they'll land there.

I had a similar situation when I tamed my first Argentavis. But, while following they will be flying, and they should land when you tell them to stop following you AND they are close to the ground, if they have enough space. In my case I just let him hover for a while, and when I returned some time later he had landed a little further away in the dino Pen.

Once you get your saddles it is much easier, pressing Spacebar while flying will land the flyer and dismount you.

oh ok, well yeah the server is an offical one and its 180.1. So is my steam version and my trie mates.

its been about 5 hours, there is a big open space in my pen for them to land, i have pteras taht land fine. I have tried "T" and "Y" to stop I have also tried using "J" and then "U". its jsut more annoying than anythign and if its still bugged i wan tot bring it to their attention. because when they fly they are darting back and forth all over the place too. I cant get them to land to even add the saddles lol so thats not relaly an option atm. :(

after the servers updated once, they started acting normal and landed however due to the constant oceania server crashes i lost them anyway because i was flying when the server went down as usual.... -_-

I am sorry thier case is terminal you must take them out back and unload 2 shotgun shot full of love to end there broken lifes.

Doesn't really matter, they'll just land after a while. With Pters I'm more carefull as they sometimes move quite a distance when landing, with Argents I've never had that issue.

Atm my Pter's don't want to fly anymore on follow (bug).

Got this problem minutes ago, and already solved it.
The solution is first, craft argent saddles. Then build tower (wooden pillar, ceiling and ladder) as high as your bird flying. More easy if u make it following you.
Then climb up the tower, equip the saddle, ride it and get it down.

sorry for bumping this, because there's still no solution before.

An easier solution is to get another flyer if you have one and have the argent follow you to a place on the map that is the same height the argent is flying at (ie. a mountain) and then saddle it when you get to the mountain, rather than having to craft anything other than the saddle. But yeah, this bug still exists. Happens about half the time I tame argents.
