We should be able to rotate things like ceiling/floor/wall tiles before placement so things face the right way. I imagine this would be in a future update :)
Same applies for ramps though, down want to always build them coming down, why not allow us to build them going upwards.
The real issue is with snapping walls to fence foundations, there's a consistent way to place them to get walls to face the way you want, it's hard to explain, so you really need to figure it out with experience. Fortunately, there doesn't appear to be any difference between the 'front' and 'back' of stone walls, which is what I've settled on using until the building system is overhauled and replaced with a more consistent, easier to use system. I don't particularly want to waste a bunch of metal/cement paste by having walls/ceilings place themselves in seemingly random positions.
We need to be able to snap the walls and such properly - And the game needs to be clearer about which side is which.
Bonus points if they give us interior walls that are debarked and smooth on both sides.
- let us choose the direction of walls via button
- better visuabillity for fence foundations, its realy hard to see them in the gras sometimes
- interior walls
:)
+1 :D
