Possible to swap from pvp to pve and back to pvp without losing progress?
hey I play on pvp official server 100, I m lvl 17, I don t have much time to play this game so i guess I need a couple months to get to 65. For now the pvp is bad, I hope once lvl 65 things get better but til there I can have a much easier time lvling on PVE. I want a bird and i want to keep it longer than 1 day to explore.
Can i transfer my char to pve server and once I m done transfer it back to pvp server?

There is currently NO character transfers on official servers.

damn.... i was sure I read u can transfer chars on obelisks, but never had change to test it....

Nah that would be so unfair for us who plays both PVE nad PVP. i had a lv60 PVP since transfer is not allowed i just went to start fresh on a new PVE server. getting to lv17 can be done within a day with ease

Well you can - But only on unofficial servers that support it.

It's been disabled on most servers because players can simply load up a private server, cheat the heck out of it - and then move to a cheat-less server and wreck the place.

I imagine they will allow Official to Official transfers at some point - although I'm not sure why you're taking this so hard. You DO realize your character and all servers are going to get wiped many, many times before the game releases, right?

didn t they say they don t wipe chars if possible? The thing is it takes too much time for me to lvl a char to 65. I bought the game because of the pvp aspect. But for now there is no pvp so I figuered i can just explore the game easy mode for some time to get the lvl for pvp and than go pvp.....

I call kill 10000 dinos to get to 65 grind not progression... it s a long and boring grind

You do other things than kill dinosaurs in this game you know...

yeah run eat and drink. Also repair tools and craft new ones to kill dinos... maybe built a house ...what else?

Sounds like you don't actually want to play this game, but rather just a "everything is already maxed" arena settings.

And you're in luck - Because that's coming. Hell there's even full modding capabilities, so nothing preventing people from hosting full on, "Hunger Games" style servers.

So....what you're actually saying is you don't like the game? Also, if there's "no pvp" then why do you need to transfer to a "pve" server? Aren't you already getting the pve experience on the server you're saying has "no pvp"? Can't you just explore on this non-pvp pvp server?

You think that switching to a pve server double/triples your xp gain or something?

like i wrote before, I bouight this game for the PVP, all the way to get there is not for me, it costs to much time, is too boring. To be competive in PVP i need to be max lvl.
I hope soon there is a modded server where u start with all engrams and max lvl, than I will have my fun there but like it is now....
