Wasting fuel

When you light a fire it uses 1 wood, if you immediately put the fire out and light it again, it uses another. The same in the forge and in the fabricator with gas.

These items should have a fuel bar that is filled with each unit of fuel that is consumed, this way it will not consume a fresh fuel until the fuel bar is depleted

I don't see a problem with the current system. It makes sense to use fuel when you keep turning it on/off.

Agreed, & as far as the fabricator goes at least, that 1 gas will last a LOOOONG time(we did some testing the other day with this).

Yes 1 gas lasts 30 min, but if you are only going to craft 3-4 items then it is a bit of a waste. Gas sure as hell doesn't work like that in real life. My car doesn't burn a whole gallon of gas if I just pull it out of the driveway.

there is literally nothing to balance here, no downside to the idea, and people still fight it, just to fight it....
