What's the point of using a catwalk when you can just use roof tiles to accomplish the same thing, and have a wider walkway.
The catwalk should be able to span at least 3x from each foundation.
Ceilings have the same restrictions regarding reach, so you might as well make wider bridges with them.
Also kinda odd no one has mentioned it takes less to make a catwalk then a celing tile.
Just because YOU dont see the value in them does not mean they are useless....maybe your lack of creativity is the issue, and the part itself.....just saying.

Until you need to shoot out of it, that is.
Yeah. We created a large room in front of our base with a dino gate at the front.... We had on main base a window hatch.... A catwalk above the front gate and some noob walks in... We jump down and shut the gate running out while a sniper in the window shoots the dumb sod that walked in.
Uses for this stuff.. Hell yh!
