If they are all low levels, pick them up and eat them and wait for new eggs to spawn.
As long you have difficulty set to 1.0 and override difficulty to 5.0, you should be able to see up to lv 190 eggs (albeit it's quite rare).
Are you sure about this? Btw I do agree about getting all low level ones, you need to empty those nests in order for new eggs to spawn!
Raised my level 115 Lightning Wyvern that way.
But still i am unsure if the low level Wyverns flying about affect the level of respawning eggs or if it's just random.
Been finding conflicting answers online.
Maybe they are dependent, if they are, kill the low level wyverns like mentioned.
Agreed, the information is pretty contradictory.
One thing I can definitely say, is that I have never seen an egg that was any higher then nearby wandering adults. I kept really careful track of that. Would see eggs way lower then any nearby adults, but since wyverns attack everything that moves, the low level adults might have been killed.
Wouldn't this affect imprinting bonus though? Not that I really know much about it, as I have boosted maturation rate to avoid such issues altogether, but it would be nice to know for sure.
What I've noticed (which both william_es and mayhem pointed out) is that not only I've never seen any higher level egg than nearby wild dinos, but that through spyglass I was always able to spot wyverns/deinos of the same level I would find the eggs, which can't be a coincidence.
What do you mean? It reached 100% Imprint without issues.
There is a setting regarding imprinting quality, but I was never able to understand what it was (i.e. if it can affect imprinting effectiveness if the dino has not been treated well like giving them food).
Hmm not sure what option that would be.
I have only changed the interval at which babies ask for care to match the increased maturing speed i've set up.
Haven't changed anything else in regards of Imprinting.
I simply provide care , imprint % increase and that's it i can starve the baby and whatnot and i still get 100% imprint in the end as long as i provide care (cuddle , walk , comfort food) and don't let it die ofc.
there are multiple settings, and they interact with the growth rates, and other things. Changing any of those settings, will sometimes require re-calculation of all of them, It' pretty annoying.
I sidestep the entire issue by just using the nanny structure from structures plus. It just automatically imprints things to match maturation %. I've never had it fail.
My apologies, I got confused with two option settings: baby cuddle grace period and baby cuddle lose imprint quality speed multipler, apparently imprinting quality can be worse if delaying it too much, so just forget what I've said prior to this, lol.
Oh so the nanny imprint it for me and without fail, no matter which settings I use? Handy, thanks!
yes, automatically. It updates every few seconds, and makes imprint % match or slightly exceed growth. Even works on a partially grown dino. You could have one at 67% maturation, and after few seconds, the imprinting will leap up to either 67% or 68% and then just keep in pace with growth after that.
It also feeds babies for you. Just put resouorces in the nanny's inventory, and it will feed them. Maewing's sort of better now, but the nanny gets the job done too.
Isn't nanny superior on imprinting though since it is automated? I wonder if nanny would work along the mutator speed growth though.
