Can't use Blood Extraction Syringe

Am I being derptastic? I have a syringe in my inventory..but when I select it, the "Use Item" button stays greyed out.

I assumed I would just use it from my inventory. I also put it on an unconcious tribe member..and I didn't get the Remote Use button either.

I have tried creating new ones...restarted the game..nothing seems to work. I haven't restarted the server yet..which I guess I could try next.

Is anyone else having this issue?

i can't figure out how to use it either. do we need something extra in our inventory to use it ?

I found this youtube video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rJPTP8R2BE and at 2:50 they use a Blood Extractor right in their pack by hitting the USE button.

Funny, just yesterday i found our old syringe in a storage box and made some blood bags (so yes it works, no grey "Use item" for me just 5sec of waiting between every use), oh and yes you can even kill yourself with it if you drain too much blood :-)
Btw bloodbags are pretty useless, medical brew is way better imo

It actually turned out that the Spawn Pack mod was causing the issue. I removed the mod and the Use button lights up as expected.

From what i've seen that item is pretty much Useless, as the blood packs heal little to no HP and have a cooldown between uses
