Does oxygen improve dino swim speed?
I know oxygen will increase our character's swim speed, but does it also apply to dinos, and if so, is it the same percentage per 20 points? Was wanting to test this on an ankylo for fun... but I would feel better about it if I had some confirmation on this.

Movement speed increases swim speed, oxygen just increases how long youc an hold your breath

Are you stating that dinos will not benefit from the increased swim speed from oxygen, or are you under the impression that oxygen does not even increase a character's swim speed? Reason I ask is because it does increase our swim speed.

Oxygen does increase character swim speed. Not sure about dino swim speed though. I do know there was someone with a very high level ankylo that would go to the bottom of the ocean and mine oil with it. Said it was extremely effective. Never wanted to try it myself because I figured I would end up killing it. :P

I have a scorp whom I've put full oxygen into.
The next time I login, i'll check.

Oxygen improves swim speed on both characters and tames.

May I ask what you tested this on?
Inferno369 Aug 23, 2015 @ 3:33pm
There is no need to test it as its kind of obvious once you put enough time in the game.
You could also say I tested it on everything.

Wiki: Putting a point into Oxygen will increase your maximum Oxygen by 20 and increase your swim speed by about 6%.

Testing would generally be having 2 of the same dino and movement speed, but different oxygen values swim side by side, which is what I was curious about.

I am aware of this, and I myself have 300 oxygen; however, nothing clearly specifies whether or not if affects dinos.

You will notice it without having to actually test it.

Would be very interesting if someone would do some testing. Ankylo-Diving ftw :D

And what exactly did you 'notice' it on? Many things swim very slowly, and the main creature one would want to improve it on would be an ankylo, which already swims at a decent speed. How much oxygen did you pump in to feel a difference?

From my experience, I would say yes. I have two different sabers. I have one saber that has 285 oxygen, and I have another one that is a lvl 120 with full kibble tame and has 540 oxygen. I have noticed that the one with the 540 oxygen can swim far better than the one with 285 in terms of swimming up, down, forward smoothly and quick.

One thing I would like to note on is that I did not pump oxygen into these sabers. I left it as is after the tame.

K, I'll give you an example.
Tame a lowlevel saber, tame a higher level one..Base oxygen will be enough to notice the difference.

Guess someone beat me to it.

Tribemate has a spino with 2600 oxygen and it's like a submarine with jet rockets!
