Behemoth Gateway - Too Heavy to Craft?

So I have all the materials now to make my Behemoth Gateway. I've loaded them all a bit at a time onto one dino, so I can just pull them all off him at once without having to move.

But I can't put them all into my inventory (assuming too heavy), which means I can't craft it.

Is this intended or is it a bug? Does anybody have a way around this please?

add points to carry or you will need someone else to make it

It is created in the smithy.... So ya.. You can't make it because you are carrying all the materials.... Or trying.

The only way around it is to put some points into your weight stat. It's not a bug your character has an over encumbered weight limit and then on top of that an absolute weight limit, which is your problem and at 100 weight, is too low to hold all the mats
TL;DR get a friend to craft it for you or put points into weight

Just run them back and forth to the smithy, make at smithy, you'll be able to pick up the actual gate.... place with care as it's a bummer if you have to delete and rebuild lol

The STONE Behemoth Gate is crafted from the player inventory and is also heavy on the mat. side.
Cause the OP hasn't stated WHICH Behemoth gate he wants to craft.

splitting the stacks wont help as you still need the same amount of materials and if it is be stone gate you do need to have a higher weight "stat" if you don't you are out of luck, mines at 200 normally but on one server I play on its at 300 (max level there is 110).

If its stone you need to upgrade weight limit 2 times.

Sorry, Behemoth Stone Dinosaur Gateway (level 30). I will wait til next level then and put a point another point into weight (was so close! if i take EVERYTHING off i can carry everything I need except 5 stones).

You don't need to put any points in weight. The test for what you can carry doesn't occur when you pick things up off the ground. It's a bug but until it or the gate is changed might as well make use of it.

So

1) drop all the stone you need in front of you,
2) gather up all the other mats
3) pick up all the stone.
4) craft gate
5) ????
6) profit

If it is the stone don't worry about it... you stand next to the dino and pull them across... doesn't matter if they take you over the limit and you can't move... done it 100's of times!

The only reason you shouldn't be able to do this is if you have too much other stuff in your inv you don't need taking up all your slots
