Probably.
If I had a 13 year old, I'd potentially let them play singleplayer.
The core game is not that bad. Maybe a little frustrating / bloody for younger people, but I suppose that's up to your parents. If you really want this game - my suggestion is to let them dictate your online play.

Playing online is a thorny issue. If you got your parents to set you up a non-dedicated server for just you and your friends, maybe. Honestly it's completely up to your parents - but I personally would stay away from servers (unless its yours)

Ive seen posts from parents that their 7 yr old enjoyed it big time even one where a dad and his 3 yr old daughter are playing it together.
offline ima say: All Ages
online this depends on the server your on how that community is.
PvE generally id say 12+
PvP 16+ (Would say lower but on some servers people can be very rude and all)

The violence is pretty tame compared to other games, just a lot of blood. That said, are you sure you have a computer that is strong enough to run Ark?

I think all MMO's have to be rated 16 due to the content that the players can link/say/type/draw.

Unfortunately there is no online mute ability.
Single player, definitely open to younger people.

it is when u are not allowed to kill other players so someone can not come up to u and shoot u in the face for no reason
