I at least agree on that dinos get too much health late game.. and do believe there needs to be rebalancing in stats, but not change how turret's damage work into percentage damage. Alpha Dog's thought on that is quite accurate
With turrets you force them to ground and through all you walls. Costing them more resources.
Bases should never be 100% safe ever.
bring turrets down with rockets.
Anyone who played EvE online is familiar with concept "effective hp" or "ehp":
let say dino has 1k hp and no resistance whatsoever, that means you need to deal 1k damage to it to kill. If that dino gets 20% resistance you will need 1000*(1/0.8)=1250 damage to kill it, that means that 1k hp dino with 20% resistance has 1250 ehp. That also means that stack of meat will restore 125 ehp instead of usual 100 hp.
A good combination of jorneyman or higher saddle + toughness will make things even worse than they are now. Also less damage means less torpor applied from attacks making narco traps and tranq arrows less effective to defend against dinos.
