You should be able to shoot from a dino's saddle - at least when it stands still...

(if it's not like this- the loading screen is such a misleading lie, cause they shouldnt be able there to hold a weapon while raiding raptor and saber ;P)

You can hold weapons just not use them. Only things you can use while mounted is the torch, gps (and I assume compass) and Map. I wish however you could actually use them while mounted. Maybe when they release the platforms for Brontos and Pleisos then they'll allow that, who knows though.

I would very much like to see shooting from saddles. Not being able to shoot from saddles brings in a lot of restrictions, and when you think about it, even Native Americans developed the skill to shoot bow and arrow, as well as rifle, from horseback...even at a gallop. I think being able to shoot from the saddle would offer a lot more flexibility and bring a new element to PvE and PvP, so I fully support it.

The problem is if youre riding how will you shoot and not make your pet attack instead? Mayne if your in 1st pers you attack and in 3rd your pet attacks. Swapable for those that check the "1st pers riding" box

I would love to see this happen. Maybe we can have a key toggle (middle mouse press as default?) to switch between character and dinosaur attacks?

weapon selected => you use it
weapon toggled => bites and scratchs

I think one way of doing this would be to have a keybinding which, when pressed, toggles a weapon swivel mode. This can be set to push-to-toggle or toggle and off perhaps.
