You don't. Even in a preserving bin it spoils too fast. Your best bet is to toss on some regular meat then actively harvest while the critter tames.

it increases the timer, it will still spoil, just takes a little longer.

cook it 1st, then make jerky out of it then keep it in the refrigerator.. that will be the longest it will go without spoiling.

You need to collect meat when you are doing the tame... So get a dino down and keep it unconscious.... Let it starve down so it will eat all meat you throw in at once...... Have a preserving bin (Fridge is better) and go out with an OP rex eating anything that drops prime... Chuck it in the bin and grab some more.... Into the dino it goes and voila

If you have a frigde or a Industrial grill just go farm it (with a dino) make sure he has reg meat in his inventory. If you get prime make sure your dino holds it so it doesnt spoil as fast. Cook it then refrigerate it or make it into jerky.
If its just for taming (not jerky for kibble) then yea you retty much have to kill during your tame.

keep it on a dino with regular meat. Get to an industrial grill as soon as possible, cook. refrigerate.

otherwise..hmm..have 3 or 4 fires going, quickly transfer prime meat from dino to the fire and hope for the best.

Cook prime meat, add to preserving bin with sparkpowder and oil and wait until it turns into prime jerky. Then refrigerate until needed.
