Chat stuck on "Local"

[=S.W.I.D= Xandor Maker]

for no reason chat on my server stuck on "local".
if you press Insert - you will open local
If you will press Enter - you will open Local to.
Tribe chat don't work at all.
Any sugestions?

sounds like server admin disabled global chat, ive seen servers that do it when chat gets too volatile or for immersion purposes

Sounds like global chat is disabled in server config, which also removes tribal chat since that is a form of global communication.

What was global chat string? Maby if i'll add it, it will be fixed

yea that's pretty wierd, did you reboot your server recently before it disabled global ? We had a case wayyy back when it would disable global chat everytime we updated our server but I thought they fixed it. Maybe not

yea that's pretty wierd, did you reboot your server recently before it disabled global ? We had a case wayyy back when it would disable global chat everytime we updated our server but I thought they fixed it. Maybe not

have GlobalVoiceChat=False in your settings, should work temporarily till you have to update again, then you might run into the problem again when updating though we havent had it in weeks

try adding ProximityChat=False to your settings and reboot or adding ?ProximityChat=False to your commandline

I'll try to add lounch option about proximity chat, like Drake was telling in guide, and maby this will help.
