They hit 2 bases. All chests destroyed, AND our dinos are inside alive and completely fine.
There was no dino glitching.
All of our food and eggs were taken out of fridges, generators, smithies. EVERYTHING is gone.
Servers should have a script that requires a whitelist of admins that is modified on the computer only and protected once the server boots. Any steam name that issues an admin command is instantly perma banned. Its quite simple to block that kind of thing.
If this is the case, it should be easy to look at the logs and see who issued the command. Then ban their steam and IP.
This only happened on the fridge, smithy, generator, etc, those you are not able to lock.
We lost most our stuff in those facility and same thing happened to others in our server.
If they had the admin password they would not need to break into other peoples bases to steal, they could spawn the items they want. So its rather unlikely the hack has something to do with the ingame admin commands.
They were somehow able to destroy every storage container, and kill both tribe members.
Yoth, on PVE you can't pick up wild raptors. Also it was stone, and raptors do not destroy stone.
But yeah... if one was a metal base it doesn't work that way.
I'm not so sure anymore if this was a bug.
Alpha raptors do. And he never said pick the raptor up, just aggro it then go over to the base. No need to pick it up. However, this would have ended up with the outside of the base destroyed and probably the outside dinos as well.
