How do you get Gigantopithecus to collect fiber?
Tamed one, when mounted he attacks but did not collect any fiber. Didn't see any radial dial for it. Do we just set them to wander out in the wild where the bushes are and leave them? I'm not liking that idea at all.

ride him up to the bushes and get off, or put him and wander =) he runs straight to the bushes on wander.

Thanks, will give it a go tonight and see how long it takes to harvest some. If I have to babysit them I might as well just use a sickle....

it only took mine a minute or two to get about 600 fiber. If you leave a protect dino on follow, he should be fine and shouldn't go too far. It's a good thing to do while you collect wood or stones.

The only way I found was to put on wander put his radius to low and he must of got 10k in fiber in a few hours but he went great distance from where I started him to wander

Yeah just set the Gigantopithecus to wander and it'll pick up loads in no time, I tried attaching a tracking node to mine so she wouldn't get lost but not having any luck.

well on the Gigantopithecus you can press c (crouch) near a bush, and he will crouch down and collect the bush give you 50 or so fiber.
