I knocked one out & it never woke up. He was in a coma?
Taming would not reset after falling to 0% the first time.
Server issues causing you to come in to contact with them.
I tried for four hours to tame three different Apes to no avail.
I trapped one in a 2x2 with a dino gate & it just wouldn't calm down even after I spawned to the other side of the map & returned.
Yeah, they were bugged on release.
As for the kibble, Titanoboa? Really? The creature you can't tame & spawns in the blocked off pvp caves... Nice work devs.
That is no excuse for rushing content and it is a cop out. The game is in alpha, the players agreed to pretty much be game testers. If something is pushed out the door before it is ready, it was due to a conscious decision made by the game designers. The forums (of any game) represent a vocal minority of the player base as a whole and does not represent the gaming population at large, or at least not enough to truly carry any weight. People can whine until they are blue in the face, but I am positive that decisions are made on criteria aside from a handful of people going wahhhh wahhh! I see this argument so often in online games it is sickening. Any intelligent developer will carefully weigh things like game balance, or how their updates will affect and play out in the live game. If a decision to rush content is based purely on a few people kicking and stomping, then I question the professionalism of the development team, and once again would say it is their fault ultimately if they rush content that is not ready.
I highly DOUBT this team is that unprofessional, for example, we've been promised the ability to build on large saddles for a while now, but it's been pushed back quite a few times because it's simply not ready. They won't release it until they think it's ready, for good or ill, just like with the giganto, if it's a little buggy, they will address it. I am sure it's release had nothing to do with a few people moaning.
edited to add, Of course players are never happy. When have you EVER know humans to unanimously agree on anything? There will always be folks with differing opinions, or tastes, or ideas on how something should be. More so for video games and the like. You can have a critically acclaimed title on your hands and there will always be someone writing a blog somewhere about how flawed it is.
