Suggestion: Bounce Pads or Cusions.

I end up always going on a cliff next to my base and wanting to just jump down. Its to far though so doing so would result in death.

I think a type of cushion or Bounce pad would be very unique and usefull.

Support if you like the idea, I myself am already working on a model for one so that I can at least make one myself.

If you were to jump out of a third story window a cushion would do little to protect you from the damage of the fall. you would need a trampoline of some kind that is large and strong enough to prevent you from being crushed by impact.

Or you could just build a platform about half way down and jump in two parts.

I see little use for a landing/bounce pad -1000

how about when you're on a mountain and take a fall due to lag or just not paying enough attention? many times mountains are too steep to stop you from bouncing and falling even more, taking even more fall damage; a deployable crash cushion (NASA has been prototyping them for years for rover missions and possible manned missions to mars; there's been emergency airbag vests proposed for construction workers and such as well) would solve this problem
