How to kill Spino at level 15.
Hey everyone I'd like to know how to kill a spino. I'm on the southeastern isles surrounded by spino's on both of my beaches. I'd like to kill them once and for all. I've got a level 7 trike that I've been training almost entirely on attack and some hp. What would be a good way to kill one?

Climb on a high rock where it cant follow you and shoot at it with a bow or crossbow

to kill them once and for all? They will just respawn after a while. Anyway the spinos stay close to water so they arent that dangerous (just dont get close to them). Level up. Tame stronger dinos and then you can kill them ;)

A level 7 Trike will most certainly lose against a Spino, so I´d not use it in the fight. Level 15 means you can craft the bow and arrows, try to lure them to rocks so they get stuck and try to shoot them.

Thanks I will see if I can find one, but most of the time they are hanging out in the water or on the beach.

Well my problem is I can't get to any dino's on my beach. They're all surrounded by spinos. I've never been in the jungles but I don't think my trike would make it as he always gets stuck on trees.

Okay maybe I will try that then. I don't want to lose my trike because nothing else is spawning around me. I haven't had any spawns in about 5+ game days.

when you walk through a forest with a trike use the attack to cut trees when your stuck behind them. Get a raptor (they are great for getting meat. and you have the trike to get berries). Make narco.

Also dinos dont respawn in an area when youre in the same area. So or go to another area and wait or log off and log in after a while (atleast that works on online servers)

I'm not sure but I'm in the Southern Isles so I'd say anywhere between 10 and 25? I'm relatively new to the game so I'm not sure what the levels are in different areas.

Okay, I usually go in my home and craft for the night and stuff seems to come back. How would I take down a raptor without my trike killing it? I think I'll need my trike to help me at first so that's why I'm asking.

Well I'm trying to get meat for narcotics but I can't because all the spino's wreaking havoc on the beaches.

Brian, the best thing to do would be to get a primative bow and have enough mats on you to repair it. Get enough narcoberries and spoiled meat to make narcotics. If you get about 50, that should be enough. Make them all into arrows and shoot at the spino from a distance (preferably a cliff because spinos are great at climbing). When the spino is down, you can check on it's level to choose to tame or kill it. If it's 10 or over, for your lvl, I think it'd be best to kill it. If it's 10 or under, you can choose to tame it. But the decision is yours. If you do plan on taming it, you'll need a couple stacks of meat ready and on your trike (so they take longer to spoil) and about 300-600. I know it's a big gap, but I'd go with 600. If you want to be super safe (so you don't have to collect narcs mid-tame, I'd get about 800. (600 is deffinately enough for a low lvl. 800 is overkill) Although it will take a while to get the narcs and to tame it, once tamed, you can kill all the other spinos with it. Just make sure and lvl it up a little before you do so, otherwise it could die. You'll probably want to up health untill it's about 1700-2000. Then you should be good to kill the other spinos. After you kill them and get to 2000 health, you'll want to up stamina to 1000. Then pump nothing but melee for the rest of it's life untill about 1000% (and it might not ever get that high).

You can get narcs much faster in a forest. If you're worried about your trike's seftey, just keep to the edges.

That's a good idea. I'd like to have one to kill any spino spawns for the future. I'm just not sure where I'd get all that meat and narco from at the moment. I play with a higher tame rate and resource rate but I need to find a good way to farm stuff without getting eaten first.

If you can accept me firend request, i'd prefer to talk that way.

The best adice is, spawn south side bro, south zone three. Much safer there. Dont mess with spinos straight away.. work up the ladder.

Trike - Raptor - Saber - Ptera - Rex
