How to destroy plant turret x?
Already lost a bird from it. I've destroyed its water supply and tried to attack it with a carno to no success

Step 1) Destroy water supply
Step 2) Wait
Step 3) Return when water supply runs out

4) Return to the plot and discover rain has filled it up just nicely and get shot again. ;)

on topic : Snipe the plot from under it from a distance the turret cannot target you

Doesn't work. Plant species x doesn't actually need water lol, clearly you've never attempted destroying species x. I have like 20-30 in my base and I use 3 fertilizer per plot and plant the seed after a rainfall. After that they survive without any need for water again, the plot will never go below 599 and will never actually reach 600 again. On 3 fertilizer the plant will last roughly a month without needing fertilizer again if my math is correct.

Tactics for handling these plants are the same for the normal turrets, hit em with explosives. Exhaust the normal turrets if you can and nade the plants. Another strategy is a rex, spino, carno and break the plot.

Do not listen to people saying exhaust its water supply lol, again plant species x does not need water to grow/stay alive.

You CAN do this, but it's extremely inefficient. The ammo required to break these is ridiculous, if you're shooting the plant it's even worse as the heal rate is quite impressive on these.

On another note I hope these don't get nerfed as they're the only concrete way to stop offline raiding. Once you have 20+ with decent spread and crossing lines of fire they're incredibly hard to break through.

Had a tribe attack us with rexes and spinos, they lost their rexes, but the spino they managed to get out alive. We lost about 60-70% of our plants which we replaced with backup plots and seeds we have stored in our vaults.

Be thankful they're hard as nails to bust through, means you can go to bed without panicking that everything is going to get wrecked by a couple slobs who just play to grief.

No crop plot needss to be irigated. Rain water is common enough to keep a plot filled with water. I have done this with almost all of my farms, and never once gave them water, rain does all that for me.

can one plant target multiple attackers? or is it one on one? would it be smart to have two or more carnivorous dinos target one plant at a time? that is if they have the spacing. i ask because i have a prick who likes to grief on my server. he planted a few outside my base and along the shore just to catch people off guard.
